We are proud to be a Living Wage Certified business through Just Economics here in Asheville.

We operate like family here at Roots + Wings. Instructors can bring their kiddos to work if needed - once or all the time! We support continuous growth on all levels, never imagining that we know it all or have figured it all out. Sharing food and drink is at the heart of our monthly meetings…also known as family dinners. We are always challenging one another to be our best selves as we walk through each day.

We co-teach for both our Visual Arts Preschool and After-school Community Design Lab programs with at least two teachers present at all times. When we have concerns, we can share with one another AND Ginger - the Director - who has an open door policy for any and all needs. We believe in the power of relationship and connection, creating a nurturing and supportive work environment for all.
