Bass Guitar Sessions
Patrick began his music career in the northeast, apprenticing under bass legend Bronik Suchanek at the University of Southern Maine. Relocating to the West Coast in 2002, Patrick recorded and toured extensively out of Los Angeles, including runs with Sputnik Monroe, Handshakes, and Hotel for Strangers. His teaching style is focused on developing creativity, using jazz theory, charts, modes, and ear training to efficiently unlock the fretboard. All levels of skill are welcome, from absolute beginners to those looking for insight on more advanced techniques.
Audio Production and Engineering Sessions
Feeling comfortable in the studio, Patrick transitioned his career into the recording arts under the mentorship of German producer Holger Munch (the Eels) and Cory Rooney (Michael Jackson, Drake, Mariah Carey). Patrick is an RIAA gold and platinum record winner, and has diverse credits ranging from Jennifer Lopez to the Rentals. He is an accredited mentor through the Recording Connection. His professional studio is equipped with a Burl Converters, Pro Tools 12 HD, professional analog outboard gear by SSL, Neve, and API, and a selection of dynamic, tube, and ribbon microphones. All ranges of skill are welcome, from hobbyists to those looking to pursue a full time career in the music business. Patrick’s sessions cover a wide range of skills, including ProTools proficiency, production, composing, editing, recording, mixing, mastering, and mic placement.
